WRITING A RESEARCH REPORT |
 Before
you start writing, first look at the format of a
research report.
Here are the steps of the writing
process for research reports :
- Find out what to write about by looking for
the keywords
- Get the information
- Take notes
- Write the theoretical background
- Choose a plan
- Make a plan
- Write paragraphs from your plan
- Use signpost words to link paragraphs
- Use numbering systems / headings to make separate sections
- Write and discuss the results
- Write the conclusions
- Write the recommendations
- Write the introduction
- Write the appendix/appendices
- Write the abstract
- Edit your work
- Give references
- Compile the list of contents
